How to Integrate Google Apps emails with External Website Hosting

Now most of the business and companies are relying on Google apps for their email hosting services. but a major drawback in the google apps is that it do not provide website hosting services which make people think what should they do now to host website and keep emails running on google apps.

So today, we at Bigoyaseo Services one of the best SEO Company in Delhi too came across same situation and when after searching a lot on internet we didn't found an easy and easily understandable solution for making website live with keeping emails of clients with google apps email hosting.

So, we are posting a successful method which we implemented on our client website and google apps hosting integration for making the process simple.

After lot of useless internet searches, we found that the integration of google apps email with 3rd party website hosting company is very simple. though a limitation there is that any further emails have to be created on google apps only by paying the subscription fee to google and the emails given with websites hosting are of no use.

Now the Process to integrate Google apps emails with the Linux Hosting (The process is same for windows hosting also).

Step 1 : Change the Name server of the Domain to your hosting (Default will be of google for apps). Keep all other setting of A Records, AAAA records, same on domain panel.

Step 2 : Login to your cpanel and locate MX Records in email Sectioin

After loggin to Mx Entries, you will see a new screen
There select the name of your website from  the dropdown and t hen choose

Automatically Detect Configuration: Local (recommended)

Then scroll below and use Add Records Option, use the same setting and priority numbers as listed one by one

 

Priority	Mail Server
0	ASPMX.L.GOOGLE.COM.
5	ALT1.ASPMX.L.GOOGLE.COM.
5	ALT2.ASPMX.L.GOOGLE.COM.
10	ASPMX2.GOOGLEMAIL.COM.
10	ASPMX3.GOOGLEMAIL.COM.

And you are done now with website hosting activated on your domain and emails working over Google apps as normal.
Use same process for Windows hosting using plesk panel.

Note : If you assign multiple mail servers the same priority, then when that level of mail server is needed, mail will be distributed to those servers randomly. So please update your domain MX record priority to 25.

Drawback : After completing the process, you can't make emails on your hosting panels and for new email ID's you have to create the same on Google apps only by paying the fees.
